Rozeta Ahalyea

I'm so pleased to be able to include Rozeta Ahalyea on this site.

Rozeta could be called the mother of Sydney belly dancing, because she taught both Amera Eid and Terezka Drznik, two of the best-known Sydney belly dance teachers today.

These days, she lives in retirement on the Gold Coast, and still teaches privately.    The school she founded (in Robina) is now run by Cleopatra and boasts a well-known belly dance troupe named after Rozeta.
